AUDIT DEFENSE
Is your company facing an audit?
Generally there are two reasons for an audit. The first is when a company is new, the state in which they are based in is required conduct a "New Entrant Audit" this is to help guide a new company towards being in good standing.
The next reason is a bit more unfavorable and can be extremely stressful. This audit is usually the result of a company receiving several inspections with critical out of service violations or serious safety violations. This can happen when a company is unorganized, and has a poor safety score. This is dangerous for a company and has the potential to carry heavy penalties and thousands of dollars in fines. It is recommended that companies seek representation ahead of an audit so that they can be prepared and perform well when a federal inspector arrives.
